In MY DAD SMELLS FUNNY, Molly realizes her dad is different, He doesn't smell like other dads do. So begins her journey to learn that her dad is an alcoholic and what that means for her and her family. The reader can learn about alcoholism right along with Molly, whether they're dealing with it in their own lives or not. How Molly copes with the knowledge and learns to live her life in spite of it, should help and inspire other children, too. Or they can just enjoy the book for its humor and Molly's delightful adventures. (Children's chapter book for ages 6-12.)
